If you're looking for a secluded private property for a group holiday, look no further! This luxury villa with a pool has it all, including a stunning décor inside and out. Welcome to Les Alpilles (pronounced Laze al pee), a small range of low mountains south of Avignon, in Provence. The views are breathtaking, with a 360° panorama of the surrounding hills. They may be low (the highest summit is 500m) but their limestone peaks cut quite a picture against the greenery of the surrounding farmlands and olive groves.
This is the uplifting, inspirational backdrop to your getaway with family or friends. And the villa has been designed to enjoy it from every angle – whether you’re relaxing in the lounge, sunbathing on the spacious patio, or coming up for air in the 17m-long pool. The scenic Alpilles region is a hidden gem of Provence and an idyllic setting for your holiday in the South of France.
Inside this unique property, wide windows frame the landscape like artwork throughout the house. You’ll admire the mountain scenery from dawn to dusk, bathed in the artistic light the South of France is reputed for.
Original stone walls, timber beams and beige marble create a soothing natural haven surrounded by nature, in a perfect blend of timeless character and modern luxury. Whitewashed walls, wood and wrought iron have a Mediterranean feel while a top of the range kitchen complete with Lacanche range oven make it a joy to prepare meals to be enjoyed outdoors.
Relaxation is the order of the day, and the facilities make it easy: the villa is air conditioned throughout and has a sauna, gym and heated, salt-treated swimming pool. Six beautiful en-suite bedrooms ensure that everyone can retreat at their leisure. This fabulous property promises a very special stay enjoying the slow and stylish art of living Provence is famous for.
Breakfast and a daily cleaning service are included in the price.

Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is a vast region in south-east France, renowned for its varied landscapes. It comprises several regional nature parks, including the Luberon, the Camargue and the Alpilles. Villa Sublimes Alpilles is set in the heart of the Alpilles mountains, where the low-lying white limestone hills will delight outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
The Alpilles regional nature park is a hillwalker’s paradise on a par with Brittany in the north of France or the Mediterranean island of Corsica. The GR6 hiking trail follows the Alpilles ridge path between two of the most scenic mountain villages: Les Baux-de-Provence and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. There are signposted hiking routes of varying length, difficulty, and gradient. Climb the 496m up to La Tour des Opies – the highest peak of the Alpilles – and expect stunning views at every turn.
Many of the Alpilles mountain villages are within 20km of the villa. All are perched and inimitably Provencal. Don’t miss Eygalières, les-Baux-de-Provence, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Fontvieille, Aureille, Mas-Blanc-des-Alpilles, Mouriès and Maussane-les-Alpilles. Wear comfy shoes and take your camera to snap the cobbled streets, old houses, and tree-lined village squares with a fountain in the middle. Don't miss historic monuments such as the Glanum site in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Les Baux-de-Provence castle. Browse the craft shops and art galleries for a souvenir of a holiday to remember!
Along with magnificent landscapes and villages, Provence also has an enviable terroir. Local markets are a way of life here, with colourful stalls teeming with flavorsome sun-drenched produce. Olive oil is considered the ‘green gold’ of the Alpilles, and olive trees dot the landscape. This is the home of the healthy Mediterranean diet. Stock up on black or green olive tapenade, aioli, ratatouille, Provençal tomatoes, fougasse, olive oil and Provençal herbs for delicious lunches enjoyed outdoors. For the ultimate experience, pair with a local Provençal wine. The wines grown in the Alpilles and Baux-de-Provence valley are aromatic and come in red, rosé and white. There are many wine estates within easy reach of your rental property, with the nearest just two kilometres away.
There are two golf courses nearby (3km and 6km from the villa). A horse-riding club offers rides through the Alpilles nature park, just 5km from Villa Sublimes Alpilles, and a tennis club is just as close.
