The fully-fitted kitchen opens out onto a veranda, making cooking a delight before enjoying long lunches in the shade of the afternoon heat. There is also a second terrace, perfectly positioned alongside the swimming pool (3 x 8 m). The pool has a motorised cover.

Settle in to this Cap Ferret holiday villa before heading off to discover the area. Just 700 metres from the beach and 400 metres from a lively village where you’ll find all the essential amenities, there’s no need for a car. While visiting the Gironde region, we definitely recommend Arcachon Bay, which is a natural preservation area, and the Landes de Gascogne regional natural park. Other places to visit include the Leyre valley, which is great for kayaking, the ornithology reserve in Le Teich, and the Contemporary Art Forest where an art trail lies among the trees. And, of course, the reputed wine-growing town of Bordeaux is a must. The Cité du Vin wine exhibition, which opened in May 2016, is well worth a visit.
