The chateau is located between Montpellier and Béziers in the South of France, just fifteen kilometres from the coast.

This rental chateau has been carefully thought out to ensure ultimate comfort. The sun-warmed Spanish architecture coaxes guests inside, where they will be enchanted by a tasteful blend of tradition and contemporary style. The property was fully refurbished by a reputed international architect and boasts high-end fittings and finishings throughout. Spacious rooms are furnished with bold statement pieces that cut a colourful dash against vaulted stone ceilings, timber beams and discerning flooring.

Outdoors, a mature garden features a variety of exotic trees, while water features provide welcome refreshment in the Mediterranean heat. Amenities include a covered terrace, a large swimming pool, a tennis court, and an outdoor kitchen. Places to visit include picturesque villages such as the nearby mediaeval town of Pézenas, which offers a double dose of history and culture between the Molière theatre festival and the town’s 28 historic monuments, including the Château de Larzac, the Château de Loubatières, and the Conas water mill. 

This rental chateau is situated between Béziers and Montpellier, just 15 kilometres from the coast. If you fancy something a little more adventurous than relaxing by your own private pool, then head to the beach in Sète just 15 kilometres down the road to hire a boat, kayak, or stand-up paddle board, or sign up for a kitesurfing, catamaran or diving session.

The Bouziques oyster farm is also nearby– stop off there to find out everything you could wish to know about these iconic shellfish before savouring them with a glass of crisp white wine at an oyster restaurant on the seafront.

Larger towns nearby include Béziers, Narbonne and Montpellier (between 30 and 70 kilometres). Montpellier may be a little further but it is definitely worth a visit to take in the Place de la Comédie, the old town and a whole host of museums.
