The international fireworks festival in Blanes starts at the end of July and promises a spectacular show from the biggest pyrotechnic players from all over the world. It is packed and popular, so make sure you plan your spot in advance !
The Temps de Flor flower festival takes place in Girona in May and fills the town with an explosion of colour and fragrance.
Jazz festivals in Barcelona – the Jazz Terrassa takes place in March and goes beyond music to include food events, exhibitions and a giant picnic, while the Voll-Damm Jazz Festival in Vic draws in quality musicians.
The Castell performing arts festival in Peralda takes place over July and August with opera, dance and classical music recitals held in the stunning setting of the castle.
