From the villa, you can admire the superb view across the basin, almost resembling a constantly changing painting thanks to the tides and the changing light. The shops and restaurants located a few hundred metres away are accessible on foot.
The charm and intrinsic value of the Arcachon Basin come from a combination of natural protected areas, ornithological reserves and well-known tourist locations such as the Great Sand Dune of Pyla or Le Cap Ferret.

The basin has preserved its local lifestyle and authenticity thanks among other things to the oyster farming industry which is still very present here. The ports of Ares and Le Canon are very typical with their wooden huts. The region is served by a huge network of cycle trails and paths making it possible to get around without a car as long as you are at least a little sporty.
Ranging further afield, in addition to the endless sandy beaches of the Atlantic so famous for surfing, you can also discover the many attractions of the Gironde region, including:
Bordeaux,a town with rich architectural and cultural treasures, famous for its culinary tradition and listed as UNESCO World Heritage.
The Bordelais region, one of France's leading winegrowing areas whose reputation precedes it, offering a chance to visit the villages and châteaux which have lent their names to countless famous wines including: Saint- Estèphe, Margaux, Pauillac, Saint- Emilion, Pomerol and others.
Finally, a wide range of sporting activities are accessible, and in particular a full range of nautical activities and golf, with more than 20 greens less than three quarters of an hour away by car.

The villa L’Elégante du Bassin can comfortably accommodate three to four families with children up to fifteen people.
