The beaches and cities to visit

There are several beaches, notably the Sables Blancs beach, the Fond de la Baie beach and the Moulin de la Rive beach (a particular favourite of surfers), to name just a few.

Walks along the coast: at dawn, during the day or at sunset, follow the path which stretches along the crystal-clear waters and the wild landscapes to the Morlaix bay.

The charming village of Locquirec: its typical stone houses, its church, its harbour, its businesses and restaurants make this a friendly place.

Lannion (20 km): walk round the narrow cobbled streets of this historic town and admire its half-timbered and slate houses, its churches, its chapels and manors.

The Île de Batz: accessible by boat from Roscoff (15 minutes) or Locquirec (2h30), this island can only be crossed by foot or bike. The promise of a scenic trip along the sea, where exceptional flora and fauna stand together. The Georges-Delaselle has no less that 2,500 exotic species from five continents. Let’s not forget that you can climb the 198 steps of the lighthouse, which offers a spectacular view of the island and its surroundings.

The leisure activities in the Bay of  Morlaix

Nautical activities: surfing/bodyboarding/paddleboarding (from 5 years old), optimist, windsurfing, dinghy sailing, catamaran, canoeing, diving. There’s a sailing club 650 metres away from the property.

The “Vivons Perchés” adventure park in Pleumeur-Bodou: nestled in a unique setting, this park is accessible to the whole family and offers more than 180 challenges (high ropes course, tree houses, etc.).

Just like the region, Brittany food is not pretentious, it’s down-to-earth and authentic. Fish, seafood, crêpes, savoury pancakes, cider and much more, there’s no shortage of local specialities.
