This traditional Normandy holiday villa enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of a reputed upmarket seaside resort. Close to shops and restaurants and just ten minutes’ walk from Deauville’s long sandy beach and famous boardwalk, it is ideal for adults and families with older children who will appreciate the freedom to do their own thing. This property has been nicely refurbished and makes a bright and cosy hideaway by the sea.
Behind the traditional townhouse façade is a thoroughly modern split-level home where guests will feel right at home. Tall square-paned windows let the light flood in and the beige and white colour theme create a pleasant and soothing atmosphere.
The ground floor comprises the entrance, a master suite with a stylish en-suite bathroom and a tall, shuttered window, and a bright and spacious lounge with a fireplace. Because on days when the sun doesn’t have his hat on, what could be better than coming back from an invigorating walk by the sea to a comfy sofa and a cosy fire?
The day-to-day hub of the home is on the floor below, comprising a fully-fitted kitchen and an eight-seater dining table and a door out to the south-facing patio.
Most of the bedrooms are located on the top two floors of the house. The first floor counts four double bedrooms, all with their own bathroom, and a TV den on the landing where kids can hang out while the grown-ups relax in the downstairs lounge. There is also a small spare bedroom on the top floor.
The beauty of this Normandy holiday home is its central location at the heart of Northern France’s most sought-after seaside resort. Deauville beach and the town centre are just a few minutes’ walk, and the racecourse is on the doorstep, making it quick, easy and flexible to plan days out and activities for guests of different ages and with different interests. Teenagers and those who like to get out and about can stroll off at their leisure without being dependent on transport or the rest of the group, while families with smaller children or those who prefer to take their time can do so and meet up with others later. There are plenty of things to do nearby, starting with the beach, which is a great option for playing, strolling or getting out on the water.
This property can comfortably accommodate twelve adults or two to three families.

Deauville was one of the first towns to embrace the seaside resort trend in the late 19th century and has lost none of its glamour and glitzy reputation. This is where Parisians head for sea air and discerning recreation. Two kilometres of sand are lined with traditional beach huts and brightly coloured parasols. Stroll along the famous boardwalk and take in the names of the famous film stars on the barriers along the length of the promenade.
Whether your idea of fun is to gamble the night away with friends or simply to admire the building from the outside, Deauville casino is an emblematic sight to be seen.
Normandy is a golfer’s paradise, with an array of scenic courses. The nearest is the Barrière Deauville golf course which has an 18-hole and a 9-hole course set amid 70 hectares of countryside surrounds. Deauville Saint-Gatien golf course is great for families and players of all levels, from novice to expert. Go along for a family, kids or adults session or for private lessons with a coach. Or drive 25 minutes along the coast to the Bluegreen Houlgate golf course in Gonneville sur Mer. Start your round by a lake and continue among gentle shrub-lined slopes before finishing up at the top of the hill to take in the panoramic views.
Indulge in a spot of retail therapy - From wistful window shopping to an all-out spree, luxury boutiques abound in Deauville. This is where Coco Chanel opened her first store, with many more high label names following in her footsteps.
