Villa Saint-Tropez Pampelonne - Holiday villa near the beach

A villa rental in a quiet location near the beach on the Côte d'Azur

ChicVillas brings you the very best of the Côte d'Azur with none of the drawbacks! This elegant villa in the South of France is one of the latest additions to our collection.

In an area known for its bright lights, glitz and glamour, Villa Saint-Tropez Pampelonne is a delightful hideaway. Its secluded garden of almost 2000 m² is filled with Mediterranean trees and flowers and it has a private swimming pool for some welcome respite from the crowds and the heat.

Enjoy your own slice of paradise just 500 metres from one of the most famous beaches in the Bay of Saint-Tropez, which you’ll reach walking at the end a private road – just one of many little luxuries that ensure the perfect stay. Choosing whether to stroll down to the sand or take a dip in the pool and relax in the garden is likely to be the most strenuous decision you’ll have to make while you’re here.

You'll appreciate total peace and privacy while still being within easy reach of everything you need. There is a small supermarket less than two kilometres away and it's a short walk to the beachfront restaurants – Club 55 is particularly reputed. Saint-Tropez is also just a few kilometres down the road.

Ideal for a holiday with family or friends

Villa Saint-Tropez Pampelonne is located on a private, gated residential estate.

It is a single-storey villa in a practical U-shaped layout which wraps around a large terrace and opens out onto the garden.

A large open-plan living area is in the centre of the house and comprises a living space, dining room and kitchen.

This property combines the best of old and new. The living room features simple, harmonious tones and furnishings, while the long galley kitchen is resolutely modern and cleverly optimised. The kitchen opens onto the garden on one side and the dining area on the other. The same large sofas in the indoor lounge are used on the patio outside, where outdoor lighting creates a magical setting as night falls. The outdoor dining area forms the second side of the U and has a tiled roof so you can enjoy lunch outside, sheltered from the heat. As is usual with villas in the South of France, it is used as a room in its own right.

The spacious interior living area has huge sliding doors on each side, creating a seamless transition from inside to out.

The bedrooms are situated on either side of the central area. There is a master suite on the lounge side opening out onto the shaded terrace on one side and the garden on the other. Opposite this suite, on the kitchen side, there is a family suite comprising two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds for children, and a shower room. Next to that is a fourth bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. All rooms have access to the garden and the pool area. The villa is fully air-conditioned and has a bright and spacious feel throughout, thanks to the large windows, high ceilings and white walls.

A beach villa with a swimming pool

This gorgeous holiday villa also has a square, 9 metres x 9 metres swimming pool nestled inside the lush garden. Perfect for an early morning swim and for cooling off during the hottest hours of the day as an alternative to the beach. The pool can be heated all year round at an extra cost, although the sun will do that for you in the summer months. The pool is lit at night, so you can take a dip at any time. The garden is delightfully Mediterranean, with laurel, olive, palm, mimosa and cypress trees. A real haven of peace on the vibrant Côte d'Azur.

Luxury complex in Saint Tropez, things to see and do nearby:

Pampelonne and Saint-Tropez

Enjoy the beaches of the Saint-Tropez: the nearest beach is Pampelonne – a long stretch of white sand and clear water, popular with celebrities and influencers – and then Tahiti Beach between Cap Camarat and Cap des Salins. Then there are the beaches in Saint-Tropez itself: Les Canoubiers and La Bouillabaisse.
These beaches are famous for their glitz and glam – the restaurants and private clubs here are where the jet set flock to. Both private and public beaches are open to all and have facilities for water sports. The Saint-Tropez Yacht Club is just eight kilometres from your rental villa in Saint-Tropez Pampelonne. The Voiles de Saint-Tropez regatta takes place at the end of September. The race features traditional and modern yachts over 18 m long and is a key event in the sailing calendar. Don’t miss it if you are around!

The villa is also a 15-minute walk to the nearby waterski club.

Idyllic Côte d'Azur villages

Moving inland from the coast, the Provence Côte d'Azur region abounds with picturesque villages. Stroll around, enjoy an ice-cream or chilled drink, and take lots of stunning photos. Our favourites include Ramatuelle, Gassin, Cogolin, and Grimaud. This is a hilly region and you’ll soon come across the Massif des Maures, Estérel and the Alpes-Maritimes mountain ranges, where many hillside villages await. La Garde-Freinet, Les-Adrets-de-l'Estérel, Fayence, Seillans and Grasse are little gems that ooze the Provençal way of life. Grab a shady spot at a pavement and take in the views of vineyards, olive groves and the sea in the distance to the sound of a trickling fountain and chirping cicadas. Welcome to Provence.
The Côte d'Azur really does have it all: stunning nature and hiking opportunities and luxury cosmopolitan glamour. Take your pick!

Provençal markets

Provençal traditions continue to thrive, and each village has its own market that is popular with locals and visitors alike. In Ramatuelle, the nearest village to the villa, the market is held on Thursdays and Sundays. In Saint-Tropez it’s Tuesdays and Saturdays, and the Cogolin market is on Wednesdays. Friday is market day at Les Marines de Cogolin and Sainte-Maxime, and on Sundays you can head to the cute little town of Port-Grimaud (which is worth a visit on any day of the week).

Take a bag or a basket and prepare for a sensory treat of colours and fragrances as you stock up on delicious local specialities: Provençal herbs, olive oil, tapenade, anchoïade, aïoli, dried tomatoes, Provençal apricots, almonds. You can also buy fresh produce and artisanal wares, such as Marseille soap and lavender products. The night markets make a lovely outing in the evening. They take place in Port-Grimaud on Mondays, in Cavalaire-sur-Mer on Wednesdays and Sundays, and in Gassin on Fridays.

Finally, the ultimate way to while away the time with friends in the South of France is a game of pétanque! Go to the Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez old town to watch the locals play. You might even pick up some tips while you’re there!
