Luxury villa Rêve de Normandie is ideal for your holiday in Normandy. Enjoy country living close to the coast at this recently renovated half-timbered cottage. This picturesque traditional property is stylish inside and out, with a beautiful spacious garden and a heated outdoor pool.
Rêve de Normandie is a beautiful traditional house which has been upgraded to add a modern slant and premium facilities. The black and white half-timbered exterior stands out against the lush green surroundings, oozing character and enticing visitors inside.
The traditional façade is intersected by a full-length glass frontage that lets the light flood in and sets the scene for what's to come – the best of the old with the comfort of the new.
The interior has been refitted with care to create a large open-plan space. The emphasis here is on natural materials, light colours and clean lines, pleasingly offset by black and darker shades for the staircase, window frames and light fixtures.
The living and dining room give off warmth and have an inviting feel that will draw families together. Glass doors add lots of light and make it easy to move from inside to out. The spacious kitchen has everything you need to cook family dinners to share, including a range cooker and a sofa in the corner – perfect for curling up and chatting to the chef!
The ground floor also comprises a TV lounge and an en-suite bedroom with a shower.
Upstairs, four bedrooms are set out over two sleeping areas, one on the east side of the house and the other on the west. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and the two bedrooms in the east wing have an en-suite bathroom. The spacious main bedroom is modern and bright, with a bed facing the wall-to-ceiling windows looking out over the garden and the fields beyond.
The style is elegant, minimalist and uplifting throughout. High-quality materials and a palette of soothing hues create a luxuriously cosy feel that ensure total relaxation. There is also a sleek office space under the eaves.
Outdoors, the garden has been designed with the same level of care to ensure total relaxation and privacy. Along with the vast lawn and harmonious flower beds, there is plenty of paved terraced to enjoy socialising and the sunshine.
The stylish rectangular heated swimming pool has a safety feature and includes a decked area with sun loungers.

Ideally located between the sea and the countryside, our premium villa rental Rêve de Normandie is close to the beaches on the Côte Fleurie and the most beautiful villages of the Pays d'Auge region. This region is famous for its half-timbered houses which are characteristic of Norman architecture. They strike a stunning picture and you won’t tire of admiring – or photographing! - the colourful wooden cladding and flower-decked windows.
From Cabourg to Honfleur, passing through Deauville, Houlgate and Trouville on the way, these Northern France seaside resorts are lined with superb Belle Époque villas. Deauville is famous for its seafront and the iconic Deauville boardwalk that runs the length of the beach which is dotted with colourful parasols. These parasols have been made in Deauville since 1875 and are a symbol of the town.
Moving inland, there are plenty of quaint villages to visits, including Pont l'Evêque, Beaumont and Beuvron en Auge. The latter is classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, with features including the market hall and a 15th-century manor house. You can also follow the Cider Route to take in the villages where Normandy’s most famous beverages are made: cider, pommeau, cru de Cambremer, and Calvados. This is of course the region of some of France’s most highly acclaimed cheeses, made in the villages of the same name: Pont L'Evêque (made from the milk of Normandy cows), Camembert and Livarot. Visit the markets to buy cheeses straight from the producers then enjoy them at home with a freshly-baked baguette. Simple French living at its finest!
Deauville beach is big, and there are lots of activities on offer. Sea lovers and water sport enthusiasts can take their pick from sailboats, jet skis, wakeboards, paddleboards, pleasure boat hire, or catamaran courses. For a more leisurely option, opt for the casino, thalassotherapy, or shopping at the local boutiques. Horse riding is also available. Riders will be in their element with a ride along the beach, at sunrise or sunset. There is a riding school less than ten kilometres from the villa. Finally, golf is also a tradition in Normandy, with courses in Deauville (Golf Barrière), Houlgate (Golf Bluegreen), and Pont L'Evêque (Golf Barrière Saint-Julien).
This is the region of the D-Day Normandy landings on the local beaches including Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword.
Visiting the beaches and monuments is a must during a stay in Normandy. Memorial places include the Caen Memorial, the 360° cinema and D-Day Museum in Arromanches, and the American cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer.
