Nearby attractions include the abbey of Notre-Dame de Sénanque, a Cistercian monastery set amid rolling fields of lavender. Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a delightful little Venice, and an absolute must. The Sorgue river runs through the picturesque village which is one of the most beautiful spots in the Luberon region. Venture a little further to Le Thor, where you can visit the Thouzon caves, also known as the Fairy Grotto. Golfers can head to the golf course in Saumane, about 20 kilometres from this holiday villa in the Luberon.
