To help you plan your holiday in Brittany, we’ve picked some things to do that will keep the whole family happy. You certainly won’t be bored. First of all, there’s the sea; between the Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel, swimmers and rock poolers can head to the beach opposite their luxury villa. Anglers will be happy too – pink and grey shrimps, clams and a host of crab varieties are there for the taking; you won’t get a fresher meal than that! Sailing is also big on the local agenda. Sailors and spectators will enjoy the many races that come in and out.
Of course, a holiday in Brittany is also about family time. As well as theme parks and aquariums, the local towns and villages are lovely to stroll around. And many are well worth a visit: Rochefort-en-Terre, with its illuminations; Carnac, with its ancient menhirs and dolmens; and Vannes, with its impressive city walls.
